Basic Purpose of Job:
Senior Electronic Technicians are responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of: inside and outside wire and cable plant, including CAT 5/6 and fiber cables; wire/cable support systems; LAN/WAN interconnect systems; analog and digital radios; microwave and fiber optic transmission equipment; workstation voice and data connections; and similar work in connection with telecommunications equipment.
| Accountabilities: |
Senior Electronic Technicians must be competent in the operation of test equipment such as, but not limited to, multimeters, frequency counters, RF service monitors, wattmeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, transmission test sets, frequency selective level meters, digital test sets, and other types of telecommunication test equipment. Must also possess good people skills and able to work with customers.
