Applying for a Job

How do I apply for a position at Union Pacific?

The "View Open Positions" link is at the top of all pages on this site. It will take you to a list of current job openings. You then will be able to search our current open positions. We invite our applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait until the closing day to apply. NOTE: Positions are posted by state/city location. Interviews are held at that location, and if you are selected for that position, you will need to RELOCATE to the posted location.

Can you send me an application, or can I apply at a local office?

You must apply online.
