Principals' Partnership

We knew we wanted to help principals. Good principals lead good schools. And good schools make the entire community better. But we didn't want to tell principals what help we thought they needed. Instead, we asked them, "What do you need? How can we help?"

The Principals' Partnership is a different program for every principal who joins. We let the principals themselves define the Partnership and take what they need from it. We just provide the infrastructure. (As North America's largest railroad, we're pretty good at infrastructure.)

We maintain a Web site – www.principalspartnership.com – that principals all over the country use to share ideas and to get the best and latest educational research. Our full-time education experts help principals find solutions to specific problems, sometimes introducing them to educators in other places who face the same challenges.

And we get principals together. Our summer institute offers professional development and, just as important, fellowship. The message is simple: You're not alone.
